Compliance Terms
Who can use this, what we check, and — more importantly — what we are not yet licensed to do.

This is a draft and the gap here is wider than on the Terms page. Moving money across borders is regulated, the rules differ by country, and we are not licensed as a money transmitter anywhere. Read this as a description of how we behave, not as a statement that we have obtained permissions we have not obtained.
You must be 18 or over
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and at least 18. You must not be on a sanctions list, and you must not be in a country subject to comprehensive sanctions.
We currently check this by asking. That is weaker than verifying it, and we would rather say so than imply a check we do not perform. Needs review.
We are not a bank, a broker, or a money transmitter
We never take custody of your funds. A payment goes from a brand's wallet to a creator's wallet, and we have no ability to hold, freeze or redirect it in between.
We hold no licence to transmit money, exchange currency, or provide financial advice. Nothing on this site is financial advice. Needs review — the analysis of whether this product needs a licence in any given country has not been done.
Yours to handle
Money you earn here is very likely taxable income where you live. We do not withhold tax, we do not file anything on your behalf, and we do not issue tax documents.
The record of what you were paid is available to you, which is the part we can genuinely help with.
The clip has to be yours to post
You must have the right to publish what you submit, and it must comply with the rules of the platform you posted it on. We check clips against a brand's brief; we do not check whether you had the right to use the music in them.
We will refuse a clip that is unlawful, and we will remove a campaign whose brief asks for something unlawful.
What we keep and why
From Google: an account identifier, your name and your email. From you: a payout wallet address and the links you submit. From the platform: view counts on those links.
Payout records are permanent. They are the audit trail that lets a creator prove what they were owed, and deleting them would remove the evidence protecting the person asking. Account details can be deleted on request. Needs review — this is a real tension with erasure rights under GDPR and it deserves a proper answer.
What happens if views are bought
Buying views does not get you paid, because payment is based on the views still present after the waiting period, and bought views generally are not. It also lowers your standing, since the ones that evaporate still count in the total.
We may refuse payment and close an account where we have good reason to believe views were purchased. We will say which submission and why.
